美国家庭/剧情电影《白色蛙》，于2012年上映，由李孟熙导演，EllieWen FabienneWen编剧，影片讲述了华裔独立导演李孟熙的最新电影，讲述一个15岁的自闭症男孩在突如其来的意外击中唯一能和自己交流的哥哥身上后，如何疗伤和向周围世界敞开心扉的故事。电影“暮光”系列的混血小狼人波波·斯图尔特担任主演，美剧“欢乐合唱团”的华裔男孩岑勇康饰演哥哥，他在片中隐藏着一个属于自己的小秘密。直到因车祸去世后，这个秘密才渐渐浮出水面。中国著名影星陈冲饰演这对兄弟的母亲。◎QAF。
In fact, the real shocker about this film to me was the revelation of the sexuality ofcertain characters. Because I watch the film in the Gay&Lesbian segment of Netflix and I only read the simple description and watched the trailer before so that I assumed that the gay character should have been the protagonist Nick. Instead, when there was only half hour of the film left, the story turned to a special "intersectionality comparison"that, because both of the brothers have one "special quality" drive them away from theperfect route, challenges my assumption of Chez and Randy being "frat boys" kind.  Chez never got the chance to out himself to everybody around him and becamewhat he called a "white frog". This notion plus the medical condition Nick has really give me a mental shock and boost. It is not simply "Love Conquers All", but one minoritygroup being another one's ally while the bond of brotherhood makes it more believable.  While I finished the film, my spirit was so lifted. I am in the one of bottoms of mylife right now. Recently I heard something special:"I always think my life's full ofpossibilities but I never try one. If I don't try any of them, my life's just full of possibilities".I had ten seconds thought about that and I went back to what I was doing, even did not bother to remember which medium that was on. Right now, I write this down and restart thinking about my future and my possibilities, I start to wander, if I am one of the "white frogs" that blinded by the typical hopes of patrichal life I was and am stillliving in that all the stereotype, all the blind wishes of being the perfect one smother my mind and stop me from seeing the real me and "BEMOD". Or I was blinded bymyself, by my own impulse. At least, I should try one of the possibilities.
